Every night I try to run through all my clothes in my head and fish around for an outfit. Sometimes I search around on Pinterest for inspiration, sometimes I just stand in my closet room and sift through pieces. Last night was the sifting method, and I saw the dot cords I bought last week at Anthro. I really wanted to wear them with my new Kate Spade pumps and thought that a black top would be too harsh for the look. I literally just put the pants and the shoes on together, looked in the mirror and thought, "This needs ivory." And voila! The perfect shirt to complete the look. Lace detailing in the front, buttons down the back, finished off with my teal dotted pants, and sea foam pumps with a gold bow. It doesn't get any frillier than that.
Okay I was wrong. I do like the pants with the shoes!
