I know I dress up a lot. And I love wearing skirts and dresses and heels, basically everyday to work. But gosh, sometimes it feels so good to put on a super soft, broken-in pair of easy fitting jeans. This is my idea of dressing down. No, it's not yoga pants and flip flops, but it's still 100% comfortable, 100% low maintenance. I don't have to worry about sucking in my stomach or my feet hurting if I'm on my feet all day. It's perfectly relaxed. Would I miss my fancy heels if I dressed like this every day? Yes, absolutely! It's nice to have options. At my last job, my uniform was dress pants and button up shirts. My closet was filled with these things. But now, I'm really happy that my current job allows me to wear anything across the spectrum that I want, and I shall take advantage of that as much as possible!
