Rollin' with the homies

When I say, "Rollin' with the homies," by "homies" I mean my paper shredder, my 11 month old poinsettia, and my red cup. It was raining today, which means no outdoor photos, which means you get to see this outfit in the context of all its unedited and uncropped goodness. I tried to crop out the shredder, but I was standing a bit too close to it, so I figured, meh, may as well call it my homie and be done with it. It's kind of annoying though when I truly feel cute in an outfit and don't get the opportunity to give it a proper photo shoot. This top is awesome! I love jacquard, but I don't love the thick, stiff fabric that generally comes with it. The same goes with peplum. I find they normally hit me in an awkward spot because I am high waisted, but this one hits perfectly and falls just where I want it to on my hip. Lots of girliness to get me through a gloomy day! Plus it's always fun when your shoes can double as a deadly weapon :)
