Holiday Style Link-Up: Holiday Party Part 1

Welcome to the Holiday Style Series! On the Daily Express and More Pieces of Me are excited to host this link-up for the next 6 weeks, and hope that you're able to pull lots of inspiration to get you through the holidays. This week's theme is Casual Holiday Style. I chose this outfit to wear for Thanksgiving. We went out to eat with the immediate family, had a few apple cider sangrias with the extended family, and closed out the night checking out all the Black Friday ads. My jeans were stretchy (i.e. full belly friendly), and the metallic accents kept my festive spirits alive! I can't show you this jacket without telling you how much of a discount I got for it. It was originally $475, and I paid $69.75. Amazing deal, and how perfect is it for the holidays?

    What a STEAL on your jacket!! I love it. And jackets are the new cardigans. ;-) That is a perfect casual-but-dressy outfit. I admire your necklace layering skills, too. I might have to snag that long necklace before the sale ends. It's official, I'm going broke this holiday season buying stuff for myself.

      It's sad that I'm happy when I can go a full 24 hours without buying anything!
      I'm trying to get more creative with the necklace layering! I love the shorter necklace, but sometimes you just need a little bit more oomph!
      And seriously, this is easily the best deal I've gotten on anything in my closet room! And that says A LOT!

      Thanks so much! This was definitely a lucky find on my part - and that *never* happens to me! I am always jealous of the thrifters who find amazing things - I never have the patience. Lucky for me, this was an internet purchase, so the jacket found *me* so to speak! And also - the stock photos of the jacket really didn't do it justice, which probably worked to my advantage!
