Unintentionally, I feel like my outfits this week have come full circle from my original look on Monday. I definitely think there are trends in my outfits, even on a weekly basis. I think it's interesting to see these trends, so I thought I'd put together this little polyvore so you can see what I'm talking about, specifically for this week. I started with dots, and just like the 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, I've found myself ending the week in dots. And looking at this, I'm already seeing many other outfits that can be mixed and matched with these same pieces. But I guess I'll save that for another post…
Sunnies: Gucci | Chambray: Rubbish (option) | Top: Express | Necklace: Express | Leggings: Express (option, option) | Bracelets: Stella and Dot (1,2) and Gorjana | Bag: Kate Spade (option) | Shoes: Steve Madden
This is definitely a casual Friday kind of outfit. I feel a bit slummish today - it's the inferior version of this pin here. But I kinda don't care because I get to wear these slip ons again, which makes me ever so excited. If you missed it on Instagram, these babies arrived last week, and I wore them all. Weekend. Long.

They're basically everything I hoped they would be and more! If you're on the hunt for your perfect leopard slip on, I highly recommend these. They're even better in the comfort of your own Keysocks. And no, I'm not being compensated to say that, but shoes like these are the reason Keysocks were made!
Well, that's enough randomness for one Friday. Hope you all have a great weekend filled with relaxation and shopping fate!

I'm glad you liked it! I will try to incorporate it more in the future!
DeleteAnd thank you!
^^IA with Katherine! The outfit evolution image is super fun! You really didn't plan that in advance? That's awesome. And I can't even believe I'm saying this but now I think I want leopard slip ons. I really love your instagram outfit (and have a lot of the other pieces, natch) I have been loving my Converse for a year now and feel like I need another sneaker option.

Do it!!! They are awesome. I love them!
DeleteI ended up wearing actual olive pants instead of the leggings which looked better to me so I could partial tuck the portofino. But I'm finding that these sneakers go with lots of things! Like the leopard belt but for your feet!
And no, I didn't plan that. I usually look to see what "themes" I have to dress to for the week and then build upon that. A lot of times I will see a common thread (no pun intended) between outfits, but this weeks was even more obvious!
That is such a fun graphic that you put together! Neat to see it evolve. The mix of leopard and polka dots in this outfit is super cute!

Glad you enjoyed it! I do all my outfit planning with Polyvore - I'd be lost without it!!
DeleteI love full circle weeks, mainly because it shows my mood. Also I have been eyeing the Steve Madden and Sam Edelman slip on's. LOVE!

Oh I really hope you get them! And I hope you love them as much as I do! I can't get enough of them right now!!!

Thank you, Amber! Great hearing from you!
DeleteI just got a pair of leopard print sneakers, but they lace up. I'm so excited to wear them! I love how you styled your look, they are so versatile!
ReplyDeleteHey, if they're leopard, they're gonna be amazing! And yes, ridiculously versatile!
DeleteSuch a fun post. I must say I love seeing you in jeans. You know when you wear suits, dresses, and skirts to work, to wear jeans is like a vacay. A special vacay. Well that's how I felt when I used to work. Have a lovely weekend mamasita!
ReplyDeleteTotally know what you mean! It's nice to just throw on jeans for a no brainer outfit! Sometimes I know I over think what I wear!
DeleteAmazing look and I love the polka dot top so much. The mix between dots and leopard print is very incredible. I adore your hair in this style looks fabulous.
ReplyDeleteOh - thank you so much! I'm so glad I learned how to do it this way! The bigger the taller, the better! Just great to have a bunch of hair at the top of my head!
Deletelove the leopard print sneakers!

Thanks so much!! They're my favorite right now!
DeleteLove the necklace with the polka dot shirt! :)
ReplyDeleteI notice similar trends in my outfits too - sometimes I like a part of an outfit so much I want to continue it the next day. It makes getting dressed easier too, as I have something in mind to start with :)
Hope you're having a great weekend!
Away From Blue
Yes, I totally agree! This week I know florals are going to be saturating my outfits!
DeleteSo where do I even start? Keysocks; these things existed and I didn't know?!? Like how? Seriously though, I need them in my life as I am someone who suffers selflessly for style and have been freezing in my pumps all winter long hahaha! Ok so the next adorableness is the full circle chart! I didn't know where to look, all those cute dots and stripes need attention and I love each of the outfits. The one with the red striped skirt; amazing! So much fun this post is Carylee! <3 XOXO, Elif @ theboxqueen
ReplyDeleteYou need to try the Keysocks, girl, seriously! They changed my life because no-show socks always slip off my heel! Obviously they don't work with shorts or dresses, but I'll wear them with pants as much as I can! And thanks for such the sweet comment! Glad you liked the post!
DeleteI adore everything from this outfit - your shoes (because of great pattern!), combo of striped tee, leather jacket and jeans (because it's always perfect combo) and you look so lovely and cheerful in this look!
ReplyDeletehttp://crafty-zone.blogspot.com/
:) I'd say I definitely was cheerful in this! Very fun to dress down once in awhile!
DeleteI love this laid back look! Those shoes! I am going to need those! ;)

Something About That
Thanks, Jackie! I love pattern mixing to death!
DeleteThat's such a funny little quirk to pick up on, haha. At least you know what you like and flaunt it though! :)
ReplyDeleteDeb | Debra Bros Blog
Haha - that's true! It also probably has something to do with the fact that I plan my outfits for the week all at the same time! Same creative juices, I guess!
DeleteThose are perfect weekend shoes!
ReplyDeletexo,

aren't they, though? I feel like they will be my spring/summer version of my riding boots in the colder months!
DeleteLove the shoes!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I can't get enough of them!
