Manic Monday: White Blazer and floral top remix

I'm wearing lots of old pieces today in an effort to not neglect my clothes and actually shop my closet instead of shop real life! Famous last words, right? But I take that back - these shoes are actually new. Well…I bought them at the end of last season on crazy clearance, and they're just now making an appearance, but you can blame stupid winter for that!

If you're thinking that these jeans look amazing, I can tell you that they feel just as amazing as they look. I swear I have never owned a more comfortable/flattering pair of jeans than these. You need them, I promise.

This blazer gets the least amount of wear in my closet compared to my other jackets/blazers. I don't know why it's so hard for me to style it. So when I saw Tracy style hers with a floral top and nude shoes, I had to follow suit. I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out - part dressy, part sassy, part casual. Yes, yes, and yes!

    Ha, I have been wanting a white blazer for spring and Tracy's outfit also gave me the push to really start looking for the one. Still hunting, but it's interesting to hear that you don't reach for yours very much! Maybe I *don't* need one? Hmmm. Anyway, nice job on the outfit remixing- I love seeing the different ways you've worn things.

      It's difficult for me to style it because I always feel like waitstaff wearing it with certain things. That's why I loved this pairing with jeans. Plus, mine has some shoulder pad action which are not removable so the silhouette is hard. I would not give up your hunt, I think the right fit could be really great!

    Love the white blazer! I'm still on the search for that perfect one. Totally agree with you, the Stella jeans from Express are Heaven!! Hands down the most comfortable!

      There's so much floral out there but a lot of it is scary 90s style stuff! I hope you find your perfect florals soon though! This top is quite the treasure for me! I do love the blazer, but I *wish* it didn't have shoulder pads. I think the silhouette throws me off sometimes!

    Nothing screams spring to me more than the color white. It's such a fresh breath of air to see how you styled this white blazer after this horrid winter we've had...ugh! I find it hard to wear white, simply because I am a klutz and fear that it would be white with a smudge of things by the end of my day...lol. You are rocking this blazer effortlessly, Carylee!       Oh, I'm extra careful when I wear white - constantly washing my hands in case I may have rubbed my face with makeup on them! So paranoid about getting it dirty!! But thank you so much! I agree winter has been such a bear! Hopefully the worst is over!!
