Jacket: Express (same but other colors here) | Necklaces: My Name Necklace (Script, heart c/o) | Tee: Old Navy (option, option) | Bracelet: Tasha (option) | Bag: Michael Kors (option) | Sandals: Joan and David (option)
I bought this skirt as part of my big shopping haul in Florida a couple of weekends ago, and I have a feeling you will see it many times again. Stripes are so versatile to me, so I know this skirt has a lot to offer! Today I decided to keep it casual and a bit monochromatic with a graphic tee and lightweight moto jacket. I love pairing gray with cognac, so I reached for this bag instantly. I squealed with delight when I realized how perfect these shoes would be as a finishing piece.
I felt like a bit of a flasher showing off the message on my shirt in these pictures, but I certainly agree with the message. Love and be loved. Applicable both in real life, and with shoes.

Ooooh la la.... LOVE LOVE this outfit so much! I wish I wore skirts and dresses because I would totally make this happen. I actually bought this skirt and then gave it to my sister. She knew I wasn't going to wear it. Now I'm rethinking it. I wish I had your Leo confidence with fashion. Have a lovely day!!

Thanks so much! I always forget about them! Need to consciously wear them more!
DeleteWhat an adorable and chic outfit. I need to pair Gray with Cognac now. Every woman needs a Striped Skirt like that. Mine is from Express too, from like 4 years ago. I adore your tee and the message on it is perfect. It sort of goes with my post, today. Last but not least, your shoes are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice comment, Ada, thank you!
DeleteNot only are stripes versatile, but the midi length looks really flattering on you. Do you have any tips for shorter girls who want to rock the midi length?
ReplyDeleteBrittney
Another Beautiful Thing
I'm actually 5'-2" myself and very intimidated by the midi length - especially the fuller skirts. Somehow this pencil fit is less daunting, and I actually loved the way it turned out. I do feel like the length has to be *just* right below your knee to be the most flattering. For this skirt, I was able to fold the waistband a couple times to shorten the length to right where I wanted it!
DeleteI love your striped skirt with the graphic tee! what a fun pairing and really nice mix of neutrals.

I am surprised how much I liked this as I was really afraid of the midi length on me! But I am very happy! Thank you so much!
DeleteThis is such a cute outfit! I love the jacket. Now how did I not see that jacket when I was browsing thru the Express site over the weekend?
ReplyDeleteCynthia
