Plain black tee

Nope, I'm not wearing all black because it's tax deadline day. I just came across this pin and thought it would be refreshing to wear an all black outfit. Except, you know I can't get by without just a little splash of color, so I had to sneak my red bag into the look. But in my defense, it's just a teeny little thing! And ok, ok, the ginormous necklace, too. 

To be honest - I don't wear black tees often. I bought one a couple years ago, and never wore it. I finally just started wearing it around the house. It wasn't until Gina's post back in February here when I realized it's ok to not overcomplicate things! How do you wear your plain black tee?

    This is a really good silhouette on you! I love an all black outfit and your necklace and bag really make the whole look. I have so many black tees. I like pairing them with brights and patterns.

    I wear my plain black tees over striped skirts. I make good use of my plain black tees, plus they make me look slimmer. I love the statement necklace you chose for it. Happy Tuesday! Rachel xo

    I am just now getting to this post and am DYING. Just wait until you see my post tomorrow and you'll see why!! Sorry to be a tease. :) Anyway, you did a fab job of re-creating that pin and I think it's the perfect blank canvas for such an amazing statement necklace like that. It hardly looks like a "plain" black tee. Funny, I wear a lot of black but rarely wear ALL black. Too worried that they aren't exact matches, I think.

      I do love all black every once in awhile! Just like I said with your CLBD post - I don't mind all black from time to time as long as it's not the typical cocktail/formal attire! Then I go to black as a last resort!

    That outfit is perfect as a day to nighttime transition, all you'd have to do is swap the shoes and away your go. Love the contrast of those bold accessories with a black t-shirt, and I LOVE THOSE SHADES!
