Orange + summer booties

Yeah, I caved. I ended up ordering this top in a second pattern (original one seen here.) I had to let it all hang out with this outfit since I tucked it in when I wore the other top. Gina had asked if I had to wear anything underneath it, and the answer is no. There's a snap closure near the neckline that keeps it closed, so this really is the perfect, most non-fussy wrap top.

Booties in the summer may be a bit crazy, but the highs are hovering at 80 degrees this week. Plus I couldn't resist pairing these booties with the top - cobalt and orange just naturally "go" together. (As seen here and here. Oh man, that second post had awful poses. Painful.) I really wish I could find something similar to these boots for you guys because these boots are the epitome of happiness! <3

    That really is a fabulous top and you know, I have been craving some cobalt shoes. Probably not booties (maybe in the fall)...but some strappy lace ups like the Steve Madden ones? Yes. I have zero pairs of colored heels and am thinking it's a serious gap in my wardrobe!

    I can't wait for the weather to cool down a little so I can bust out my booties again! My feet refuse to wear closed toe shoes in the ridiculous heat we've been having lately :/

    Girl, I was wondering about those boots in the summer, although it's cute as hell! I am dying to wear some booties that I love but feel strange bypassing sandals to put on boots right now. Love the top and you are absolutely right, cobalt and orange is a beautiful combination.

      Yeah, we were definitely lucky last week! This week it is creeping back up in the 90s! It was nice to cool down even just for a few days!

    Great look and colors! I love orange so much and wore it to death for years. I got rid of all of it and then last fall it started creeping back into my wardrobe. It cannot be denied.
