I received a frantic text from Gina yesterday morning asking/confirming that I didn't actually have a blog post live yesterday. Yes, it's quite weird for me also to not have 5 posts every week. I wasn't exaggerating though on Monday when I said it's been raining for an eternity. And unfortunately, rain means that I can't take photos outside, and if I can't take photos outside, well, that's basically the entire point of my blog. Yes, I can take photos inside, and perhaps if it's still raining this weekend, I may just have to resort to that. But in the meantime, I figured I would just keep it short and sweet this week with Monday, Wednesday, and Friday posts. And, since I have a ton of outfit selfies accumulated on my phone - you're getting two random roundup posts in one week!
Necklace: Stella and Dot | Top: The Clothes Line Boutique | Bottoms: American Eagle | Sandals: Sam Edelman
If this top looks familiar, it's because I wore it for the style event last month. I really just needed something foolproof to throw on this day, and nothing is easier than a crisp white top and light washed denim. Leopard is always the perfect finishing touch. Always!
This is a weekend look that I wore running errands, but I had to go from running errands to going to a Cardinals game. This is an incognito game day outfit, no? It works for the fourth of July also if you need outfit inspiration for the holiday.
Jacket: Zara | Necklace: Express, Stella and Dot | Top: Express | Bottoms: Express | Shoes: DV Dolce Vita
This outfit was a product of another inadvertent Instagram outfit chain. This formula was black and white stripes, plus caged style cognac heels, and a pop of color. I realized when I was putting this together that I don't have a great striped cami, and ended up buying the one seen here as a result!
Necklace: House of Harlow | Poncho: Grace and Lace | Shorts: American Eagle | Sandals: American Eagle
I have been trying to master the side Dutch braid for awhile now, and while I still have some perfecting to do with my technique, this was the first time that I got it presentable enough to leave the house. And yeah, I may have gone a little too costume-y with the poncho and the lace up sandals, but I couldn't resist.
Jacket: JCrew Factory (similar) | Necklaces: House of Harlow, Express | Tunic: Express | Leggings: Express | Booties: Vince Camuto (similar)
I never really realized how much I love my leggings until I don't wear them for awhile. We were going through a cool spell - cool enough to whip my faux leather leggings out again, and I ended up really missing fall after I threw all this together. These second skin booties don't hurt either!
________
And that's all I have for you today. I hope this gives you enough to chew on, and hopefully I will be back with proper photos soon! I think I'm going through withdrawals!!

Need camo shorts immediately!!! Always love you outfits, girl! Quick question--I'm assuming you take your outside outfit photos with a "real" camera right? Not your phone?? :) Do you take all of your own pics? You always looks so awesome! XO
ReplyDeleteAww – thanks so much!! Yes, I use a Nikon DSLR camera with a 50mm lens. The husband takes all of my photos, but maybe 5% of the time, I do use a tripod and a camera remote if he’s not available.
DeleteSO CUTE!! Love the looks! The first and the lace tunic are my fave (altho those red chucks are adorbs!!)
ReplyDeleteVERY cute!! I also love the lace top. I have one similar.

Hi, visiting from Tuesday Talk. Okay, if you saw what I wear to run errands you would be embarassed! Truly, all these outfits are stunning. First time seeing your blog and you have a real flair for fashion. Thanks for sharing at our link up. Look forward to what you will be wearing next week.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way when its raining for days. Its the worst when you look outside and its nice out, put everything together (in like 10 minutes) and walk outside and it starts raining. Gah.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate it when the weather doesn't cooperate with your plans!?!
ReplyDeleteYou've had non stop rain, we've had extreme heat conditions. I melt when taking blog pictures :)
I always love seeing your photos on instagram, so great round up today.
