Before I get into this post, I just wanted to share something on a serious level. If you haven't already seen Gina's Instagram post, she is going through a very difficult family tragedy at the moment and could use your thoughts and prayers. In all honesty, I am not expecting her to post today, which is one thousand percent understandable, so if you don't see the linkup on her page, that is why. Please think about her and her family as they deal with such loss and heartache. Thank you.
Hope everyone had a great, long, holiday weekend. Personally, I am dragging a bit as I write this. We saw some amazing fireworks two nights in a row, but this gal is not wired to have a social life like that! Ha! I'll be taking it easy this week to say the least.
Sunnies: Ray Ban | Earrings: Kate Spade | Necklace: Kate Spade | Bag: Kate Spade (option, budget option) | Top: Nordstrom juniors (option, option) | Bottoms: Express (option) | Shoes: Vogue Footwear (c/o)
Vogue Footwear reached out to me to style a pair of their shoes. I remember visiting their booth at the St. Louis Fashion Week VIP Blogger Lounge event last year. Their styles are funky but contemporary and feel very retro-inspired to me but with a modern day twist. There were a few pairs of shoes I had my eye on after browsing their website.
These chunky heel, square toe pumps also made it on my list because they're different than anything I already have in my closet, so I was excited to see them when I opened the box! I am really happy with them from a quality and comfort perspective, especially for this price point! There's actually a subtle pleated detail that covers the shoe, which gives them a bit more depth and interest when you see them in real life. I couldn't resist pairing them with lace and a top knot because they have a vintage vibe to them.
I love having opportunities to support local businesses like Vogue Footwear, especially since the products they provide set them apart from your typical mass retailer. I hope you'll check them out here and find some goodies to add to your collection!
Disclosure: Vogue Footwear gifted me these shoes in exchange for this post, but all opinions expressed are my own.

I didn't know about Gina so thank you for sharing, what a sad loss for her and her family. I can't imagine.
ReplyDeleteFeels kind of silly to say after that, but thank you for the link up.
Love the dressy top with jeans look, one of my favorite combos. I tend to gravitate towards block heel pumps myself. They just seem to provide more stability in my mind. Have a great week, Carylee!
ReplyDeleteSo heartbreaking to see Gina's post yesterday. Our thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.

ReplyDeleteI cannot imagine how Gina must be going. Keeping her and her family in my prayers. I love your chic outfit. The necklace strap remind me of a purse strap which is so fun for a fashionista like you! I'm dragging this morning too. It's not supposed to be like that after a 3 day weekend...
