Here's what happens. I wake up in the morning, I grab my phone, I check my emails, I see sale stuff, and I may accidentally shop. All before 7am. This is what happened Sunday morning. And this time I was on a mission to find some spring basics like layering tees and new shorts. Let's take a better look.
Tops: Green stripe, grey plush, grey bateau neck
Shorts: Berry, distressed denim, olive
Before I go any further, let me just say that all of the tops and shorts (with the exception of the green stripe tee on the left) are for general reference only so I could create a clean Polyvore. For actual stock photos, you'll have to click the links, sorry!
I've found myself really wanting more striped tees because the majority of the ones I have are black and white or navy and white. Stripes just make for a good base layer, so I figured I would stock up while I had some Gap cash. I then ordered a few pairs of shorts. I am hoping that by the time I will need them, the current pairs that I have will be a bit big, so I'll need new ones anyway. Just being proactive! And again, with discounts and rewards, I was able to get everything for a pretty good price!
I had to add shoes and accessories and build actual outfits so you can get a better feel for how I plan to transition these pieces into the spring. I am just a wee bit excited for warmer weather outfits! Especially since I will be in Florida next weekend!!!
