We don't get President's Day off at work, but I certainly didn't shy away from all of the sales! I mentioned Express' crazy sale late last week, and I may or may not have window shopped other sites as well.

While I have been obsessing over burgundy and olive for the last few months, I've found myself craving lighter and brighter colors. That must mean that spring is around the corner! There are some nautical inspired pieces out there that have my heart palpitating. And even if nautical isn't your thing, poppy and navy make for a great combination, especially when it comes in a floral print. We will be in Florida for a long weekend in a couple of weeks, and it cannot get here any sooner! What do you have your eye on for spring?

I am ready for spring and lighter colors. Although, I am with you - I am not sure I want to put away my burgundy OTK boots just yet.

I always go for lighter and brighter colours in the warmer months too! I tend not too buy too much at the start of spring though, I get excited to shed the winter woollies and wear my favourite pieces I haven't been able to wear without hiding them under layers, haha!

Poppy and navy...yes, Carylee! I love that color combination, especially with just a little white thrown in to brighten and pull it together. Glad to see that you're moving into your Spring colors mojo.
