It's about that time for me to share some recent purchases! The sales seem to be ridiculous lately; it's been hard not to shop at ALL the places! I'm not sure if it's because the weather still hasn't 100% turned towards spring, but I've managed to walk away the last couple of weeks with only a handful of new pieces. Let's get started!
What I styled it with: Top: American Eagle (similar) | Tank: Express | Necklace: Kendra Scott | Espadrilles: Sam Edelman
This skirt was the only thing I bought during Express' big Easter weekend 40% off sale, but not without trying! I scoured the site, but alas, the skirt was the only thing that really called my name. I'm glad I decided to snag it while I did because it's no longer on their site. (Sorry to tease you.) I can't wait to wear it though. I tried to wear this outfit last week, but it got really cold again. Soon. Soon, I shall wear this. If you happen to see this in store, I bought a medium, which is a size up. I like to size up in skirts, especially mini skirts so they will sit lower on my hips.
What I bought: Striped mixed fabric lace up tank
What I styled it with: Jacket: Gap (option) | Necklace: Charming Charlie (c/o) (option) | Jeans: Express (similar) | Sandals: Coach
I bought this tank while we were in Florida but I totally forgot about it. (I'm so bad at unpacking in that I never do it in a timely fashion….) I received a lot of compliments on it with the lace up detail. I definitely recommend it - it's a great alternative to a basic tank. I ordered my true size here, a small.
What I bought: Boyfriend button down shirt
What I styled it with: Top: Gap | Necklaces: Stella and Dot, Urban Outfitters | Jeans: Express (option) | Sneakers: Converse
I should probably stop buying long sleeved button up shirts, but they just work as a great layer, even in the warmer months. I figure, I don't really wear many cardigans at all, so the boyfriend shirt *is* my cardigan. And it's hard to resist these from American Eagle because they're so super soft. Even though they're designated as a "boyfriend" fit, it really doesn't have much of an oversized fit. I got my true size.
What I bought: Madewell sandal (shop here)
What I styled it with: Jacket: Express (option) | Necklace: House of Harlow | Top: Gap | Jeans: Joe's | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff (similar)
It is so crazy hard to find just a simple pair of cognac colored, stacked wood heel, peep toe sandals. I've been searching since last season and have had my eye on this Madewell pair at Shopbop. I finally decided to pull the trigger because no other pair came close in comparison and I'm glad I did! It's my first pair of Madewell shoes, and they're just as their name implies - they're made very well. So happy with this purchase! I got my true size.
Shopbop Friends and Family Sale happening now!

Speaking of Shopbop! Their Friends and Family sale is in full swing, which means 25% off! My Shopbop shopping cart has been growing! These are the things I've been craving lately!
Seriously though, how adorable is that romper! Excited to see how it fits! With our Orlando trip just around the corner, I've been wanting some new rompers in my collection! My style has been so casual lately, I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing!
That's all of the enabling I will do for you today! What have you bought lately?
