Hello Monday: the cold shoulder

Guess who is back at the playground? This elementary school is on the way to one of the restaurants we regularly go to for breakfast, and since it has been awhile since the last time we took photos here, we thought we'd do it all again! Except I didn't actually play around this time, just blog business. I gotta say, I am ridiculously obsessed with this outfit. OBSESSED. Clearly I am embracing this cold shoulder trend. When the girls at The Mint Julep Boutique reached out to me for a second collaboration, I had a handful of things I was eyeing (like this romper and this crochet number), but then I came across this top and I was sold. Stripes *and* a cold shoulder? It had my name written all over it.

As you can see in the stock photo, it's actually tunic length, so it will be perfect with a chunky cardi, leggings, and riding boots in the winter! Since these jeans aren't super skinny (they have a slight boyfriend fit), I didn't want to wear a voluminous top with them, so I opted to utilize my trusty faux knot technique to streamline this top's silhouette. I seriously cannot speak more highly of this cold shoulder top!! It's super soft and the cut outs in the shoulders are quite flattering. I am wearing a small for reference.

I couldn't resist a hopscotch photo op. I was snapping a top view of this little pose and the husband decided to snap some photos from his perspective as well.

In other news, the bathroom remodel is officially complete!! I snapped about it all weekend, and I will make sure to give it a proper blog post as well. The bulk of it has been done for quite some time now, it was just a matter of assembling the remaining cabinets and hanging stuff on the walls. Still took more time than I had anticipated this weekend, but it was so worth it. I just absolutely love the space!!!
