Random roundup

Happy Friday!!! It's been a weird week for me and my schedule has been thrown off since Tuesday. Plus, I started my 3 week Pilates challenge, so my body is going into extra shock right now! Regardless, we made it to Friday so we can all get happy for that! And, I've got another random roundup put together for your viewing and (hopefully) outfit inspiration pleasure. As with previous random roundup posts, I am only linking to the items that are still available. Let's get started!

If I had a quarter for every time Rachelle inspired one of my outfits, well, I would be rich! She posted this outfit on Instagram one evening, which made getting dressed the following morning super easy. Plus, I hadn't worn my infamous utility vest since it was cooler out, so it was the perfect way to remix and old favorite!

Last Tuesday I had an overnight trip with 4 other coworkers to Niceville, Florida. We flew into the Panama City airport then drove to Niceville. Our meeting lasted about an hour, we checked into our hotel, then went to Destin for dinner. I realize this doesn't look like a Florida, much less summer, outfit. Unfortunately, when I travel, it's semi required to go for closed toe shoes. I love that these booties have a stacked wood heel making them extremely walkable even for long periods of time. For dinner, I did ditch the booties for some Gigi sandals, and changed into a tee shirt instead of this long sleeve button up. The guys I was with changed into shorts and flip flops, so I was good! I just regretted not bringing shorts myself!

The next day was strictly a travel day, so I let my toes hang out and threw on this simple combo. The chambray is always the perfect layer. Lightweight enough for summer heat, but substantial enough to keep me comfy on the cooler plane. And the pink kept me feeling like a girl after being around so much testosterone for two days! Ha!

Ah, the dentist outfit. I wore these adorable perforated pumps to the dentist because I always want something pretty to focus on when I'm sitting in that horrible hot seat. Yeah, I'm not one of those people who loves going to the dentist. Do I love how I feel *afterwards*? Well, yes, but the whole process up until I walk to my car is just not fun. Sigh. So dramatic, but that's the honest truth!

This was the outfit I wore for a super casual Friday. I've been embracing our half day summer Fridays at the office and ended up spending my afternoon after work doing a bit of shopping! That Kendra Scott birthday piece I picked out happened on this shopping trip when I was wearing this outfit. I also ordered this top in a floral print because I loved it so much! I was unsure of the shorter length, but after having it on all day, I've decided that it's perfect.
