You guys know my obsession with anything wine colored runs deep. You also know that my obsession with utility vests runs even deeper! I already had olive, grey, khaki, but I was missing an important one! Wine! With fall officially upon us, I was on a mission to find the perfect wine colored utility vest. I felt like I won the lottery when I ordered this one because it literally was the first one I found and it fit and felt perfectly. I was prepared for a longer, more difficult search because I don't feel like all utility vests are created equal!
Jenna co-hosted a shopping event at Maurices a couple weekends ago and she pointed out this anorak vest there. I liked it a lot, but there was only one size small, which had a blemish. When I went to order it online, they didn't have a small, so I figured it wasn't meant to be. It's probably for the best anyway because it's softer and more lightweight and I prefer my utility vests to have a little bit of structure to it. This one meets all of my criteria and then some!
For size reference, I am wearing a small. I was wary of the American Rag brand because I had no idea how the sizes would run. Plus, someone posted a review with my height and weight measurements and she ordered a LARGE. I was very confused by this, but went with the small, which fits like a glove. There's room to give, and the drawstring waist gives it the perfect silhouette! She did say she likes to use the pockets for when she's not carrying a purse, so perhaps that's why she needed to size up so much? Anyhoo, I vote for getting your true size.

I couldn't resist doing a flat lay the second it arrived on my doorstep. I love pairing wine with most prints and patterns - stripes, gingham, animal print, it goes with all the things, I promise! I was able to score it during Macy's VIP sale, and since Macy's always seems to have good promotions going on, I hope this makes your stalk list! Definitely one of my most coveted things I was hoping to add to my closet room for fall!

Love it! I'm completely over the moon for the one I have in olive, but this wine version is just so pretty and unique! I don't think I've seen one in this color and I love that!

This vest is fantastic! I'm of the camp that if you find something that works for you, buy it in every color! I think the wine color is my favorite on you so far. With the green not far behind!
