I guess you could say I was feeling a little ambitious this weekend. I'm actually posting 5 times this week which is something I haven't done in quite some time. I've missed it, to be honest! But this post is long overdue as I felt like I've tried a ton of new-to-me beauty products lately, but haven't shared any of this with you guys. And that's basically what this post is all about, so let's get started!
Neutrogena eye cream
This product isn't new to me. I've been using it for quite some time now, and I thought it was worth mentioning again. It instantly de-puffs my eyes in the morning. Last week when I had been ugly crying for days over Petie, I kept applying this eye cream throughout the day, and I was amazed that Monday morning I woke up without puffy eyes. I can feel a difference the second I apply it. I feel like it's so powerful for its price point and this little tube lasts longer than you would think!
I am not positive where I got a travel sized sample of this. I *think* it came in one of my FabFitFun boxes, but regardless, it's all gone now and I just ordered a full sized bottle. It works just as well as actual dry shampoo in my opinion, and I love the way that it smells. I alternate using this with my other dry shampoos throughout the week.
I used to use this years ago, but stopped just because I'm lazy like that. I am not really good at using beauty products at night, but that's something that I've been really working on lately. I use the Neutrogena eye cream under my makeup every morning, and I apply this to my clean, dry face before I go to sleep every night. It's gentle and helps eliminate my bags.
This was one of the products that was part of the big L'Occitane giveaway bag at the rewardStyle conference. I think the name "Divine Cream" suits it well because it really does feel luxurious! I almost wish they never gifted this to me because I know I will need to replace it when it's gone. The L'Occitane rep explained that the biggest ingredient of this is a flower that never dies - the Immortelle. It feels amazing on my face, not at all greasy, and has become a part of my nightly routine. I usually apply the Philosophy Miracle Working eye cream first then cover my face all over with this Divine Cream. I was afraid it was going to be too thick and make me break out, but I have not had any issues with it at all, knock on wood. I love it.
If you watched my Snapchat while I was getting ready for the rewardStyle conference, I mentioned the struggle with my liquids and not wanting to check a bag! I knew my superficial side wanted to bring a self tanner with me, but I was having trouble finding a travel sized version. I was able to find these towelettes by L'Oreal, and I gotta say, they were a little difficult to use. Even though I washed my hands thoroughly after I used them, my palms still turned pretty orange. On top of that, I had that burnt skin smell almost immediately. And then, I was so streaky! It goes on 100% clear, so it was difficult to know where I had wiped and where I didn't. I have way better luck with lotions using a mit.

The Colleen Rothschild booth was pretty wiped out by the time I was able to visit it, but the reps were very accommodating, took down our information and ended up sending us the samples we were interested in. I use the term "samples" loosely as they were actually full sized bottles that I received. I am all about age renewal, and I've been using this every morning now. I place this over my eye cream right before I add my moisturizer. It's very lightweight and keeps me feeling hydrated but not oily. I also received the Radiant Cleansing Balm! It has amazing reviews, but I have not tried it yet so I didn't want to post about it until I could give my honest opinion (soon!) But if you've been on the fence about it, now would be the time to try it for 25% off!
This definitely lives up to its name! It feels very hydrating and moisturizing, and a little goes a long way, which is nice, too. I've been alternating using this as my moisturizer every morning and the moisturizer below.
Amazon Beauty gifted me a few La Roche-Posay and Vichy products. It's a little overwhelming because I want to try all the things, but I also feel like you have to use skincare and makeup products for awhile before you can accurately speak to its performance. It would take me an eternity to go through all of the products I've been given to try, which is why I've been simply alternating them. For some reason, I also feel like alternating between products keeps my skin on my toes and prevents it from getting "used to" one certain formula. That said, I've been using this moisturizer as well as the hydrating daily booster above - I simply alternate every morning or so. I was afraid that this would have a very "medicine-y" smell, but it does not at all. I would not say it is overly perfume-y either, just a nice neutral scent. It definitely leaves me moisturized without feeling like it is clogging my pores at all.
Again, this is nothing new to me. I've been using this for about two years now, and I really love it. I just draw an upside-down triangle below my eyes, and it really does help brighten and lift my eyes. I'm on my third tube now and will continue to buy more as I run out! Worth the try if you have not tried this before!
I will keep you guys updated on these products as they get used up! But with the exception of the self tanning wipes, I've been pretty happy. I think my favorites of this new-to-me bunch for sure are the L'Occitane Divine Cream and the Living Proof Dry Volume Blast. What have you tried lately that you are loving?
