Patchwork sundress

Happy Monday! Is there such a thing as a happy Monday though? The last few days have been pretty busy and this week will be much of the same. I have a day trip to Chicago for work, work in the office for a couple of days and then I fly to Boulder Wednesday evening! Lots to do in the next 48 hours, so let's just get to this post!

This dress was one of the purchases I shared with you in my buying lately post last week. I love it! It's the perfect little number to throw on in the thick, humid heat! It's very low cut as you can see, so a cami or slip is certainly needed for modesty. I went ahead and wore my lace extender as a slip and used these bra strap clips since the dress has somewhat of a racerback to it. I am wearing the small.

Don't be surprised to see more leather earrings in my next few posts #sorrynotsorry. Nickel and Suede reached out to me to see if I wanted to try a few of their new releases. Naturally, I did not hesitate! I've been wearing my gunmetal and gold pair incessantly, so I decided to add this rose gold pair to my collection. I love them since they're so lightweight and effortless - I forget I'm even wearing earrings. And the large size doesn't get lost in my hair. There are other size options if you're not wanting to make as big of a statement. When you think about the size and color combinations, the possibilities really are endless!

Sandal season is in full effect!! I got these espadrilles late last summer, and I ended up wearing them twice this weekend. I love rediscovering old favorites! I've been reaching for my nude sandals over and over, so it was nice to give those pairs a break and wear this chambray set of cuties!
