Back in April was the rewardStyle conference. I got to hang out with Jo-Lynne for a few days and she had this clutch with her! I wanted it. It's perfect. It's oversized and obnoxious, which are two things that make my heart sing. Unfortunately, it was on backorder, but I figured it was worth the wait, so I went ahead and ordered it. Fast forward to last week and I got the email that it shipped! I told Jo-Lynne it was like my past self bought my current self a gift! Yeehaw!

It's definitely a statement bag, so I knew I was going to keep the rest of the outfit pretty neutral. What's more neutral than denim on denim? I can't ever just stop there though. I decided to wear my hot pink pumps to pull some of the color onto my feet!
It's an envelope clutch, which by nature, tend to be pretty tight for storage space. But that's why I love that it's oversized because there's plenty of room for all of my daily necessities - phone, cardholder, compact, phone charger, lippies. And there's still room to spare.
Denim on denim: 3 other ways
I realized that I've done denim on denim a few other times on the blog, and it's always fun to see these looks side by side. This collage reminded me that I have million chambrays!! I have a million chambrays, but they['re all longer sleeves and I've been wanting a short sleeve popover style for awhile now! I was so happy to come across this one in store. And the lace-up detail makes it even more fun!!

I love how well you do double denim! When my no-shop is over I'd love to find a nice chambray top - I have the perfect chambray dress and maxi skirt, just not a top yet! I like the colourful accessories with this too - it's such a fun clutch! :)
