Hello from Florida! It's 11pm eastern time on Sunday night as I write this! Eeek! We flew in Saturday morning for a quick weekend trip. We went to the Daytona 500 race and we head back home first thing Monday! More about my trip in a later post, but for now, I wanted to share a couple of recent purchases!
Outfit details--- Sunnies: Ray Ban | Sweater: J.Crew Factory | Bottoms: American Eagle | Booties: Vince Camuto "Katleen" (option, option) ---
I have a couple of easy sweaters like this that have been in my closet season after season. I turn to them when I need a thoughtless outfit, especially when I travel or when I'm running late in the morning, because lord knows that a lot of the time it takes me to get ready is figuring out what to wear! #thestruggle I saw this animal print sweater on sale and decided to snag it! The print and color are perfect. The fit is relaxed but not baggy. I'm wearing a small. If you are in between sizes, I suggest sizing down. I would be interested to see how an extra small would have fit on me, but not enough for me to exchange this small.
Earrings: Nickel and Suede (Merlot color on sale for $18, reg. $25)
I have a handful of Nickel and Suede earrings already, and had been wanting a pair in the burgundy family. This merlot color was the color of the month, which means that they're on sale for the entire month of February! $7 off their normal price. I always get the large size because of all my hair, and I like the drama!
These booties are unfortunately long gone, but I found a couple of cute perforated options if you are interested! The first things we did after we landed here in Florida were 1) get Shake Shack and 2) get pedicures! I was long overdue for one. The weather at home has been mild and I've been craving my peep toe booties, but no one needed to see my feet. I was happy to have a fresh pedicure so my piggies could see daylight again.
Short and sweet today! I'm honestly not sure how my posts are going to be the rest of the week. I would have liked to have my usual Wednesday and Friday posts ready for you, but that would mean I would have to blog at home after work during the week, and well, that's really tough between Pilates and, well, work. It's been crazy busy at the office lately and I've found myself catching up on office work at home in the evenings, which means, as I type this, I am admitting to myself that it is unrealistic for me to blog any more this week. BAH! Never say never. I guess I will play it by ear, but if you don't hear from me again until next week, you know why! Hope you have a great week regardless!
That's such a fun top, I like it with the white jeans :) Sorry to hear you're so busy, but don;t worry about the blog, do it when you can, even if that's not till next week :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the link up!
Sounds like you had a fun weekend. The heatwave continued here unfortunately, so it was another fairly quiet and aircon filled weekend for us!

ReplyDeleteThe leopard sweater looks great on you! What a good choice- I really the fitted-but-relaxed look and that's not always easy to come by. I'm amazed at how consistently you've been blogging for so many years- I think you're overdue for a few extra breaks!
