Good morning (or afternoon, or evening depending on when you read this....) and happy Monday! Just a quick post today because I am nursing myself back to life thanks to a little overindulgence with St. Patrick's Day on Saturday. This outfit fits my current mood perfectly - just a sweatshirt and jeans.
Outfit details--- Sunnies: Vince Camuto | Sweatshirt: Caslon (exact but in plus size here, other color here) | Bottoms: American Eagle (similar) | Shoes: Kate Spade "Licorice" (other colors here, budget option, option) ---
I love anything with a watercolor print like this, I'm not sure why, but I've always been drawn to it. I'm also a big fan of "dressier" sweatshirts like this and the blouson sleeves give this classic piece a nice little twist. Perfect to throw on with a pair of jeans! A simple pair of pumps in a fun color is a great way to finish off the look. This sweatshirt will be great as we transition into spring!
I found the sweatshirt in stores, but I'm only seeing the exact color on their website in plus sizes. If you're not a plus size, be sure to check your brick and mortar store if you're interested as you might be able to find it in your size like I did. It does run big, so I would size down for sure,
Headband: Micheal's | Jacket: Kate Spade | Top: Amazon | Bag: Kate Spade | Leggings: Spanx faux leather leggings | Socks: Michael's | Sneakers: Converse | Elastic laces: Amazon
I couldn't mention St. Patrick's Day without sharing my outfit with you! I was kicking myself because Michael's also had tutus that I passed on, but then changed my mind and decided I needed one. When I went back a week later though, they were all gone. They had a ton of St. Patrick's day shirts, socks, and other accessories. I think I may need to make it an annual thing to visit Michael's a couple of weeks before the holiday! It was hella cheap, too. I spent a whopping $3 on the socks and headband combined. Amazon never disappoints and I was happy with this T-shirt find. The bag and jacket are super old, but I love that Kate-Spade-green suits the occasion perfectly!
I showed on Snapchat that the husband switched out my laces with elastic ones so I never have to tie my shoes! I love them! I'm making him switch out the laces on all of my Converse as well as my Adidas Superstars.
We spent our day at the Pat Connolly Tavern and had fun listening to the jukebox, watching Irish dancers and an Irish band, and eating/drinking all the things! We stayed at a hotel nearby, too, so everyone could equally overindulge and not have to worry about being a designated driver. Hope your holiday was fun and safe!!
Have a great week!
Such a beautiful sweater! I love the watercolor pattern. Definitely going to have to check in-store for one in my size!!

Your St. Patrick's Day sounds epic and I'm sure you were the best dressed person there, even without the tutu! Love your pretty-meets-comfy recovery day sweatshirt too.
