About Me

Hello and welcome!

My name is Carylee and I reside in the midwest, specifically the St. Louis metro area. Over the last few years, I have become a professional shopaholic. I've always loved to shop, but it's now actually become my hobby. I love using fashion as expression, although I wouldn't say I'm truly fashion forward. I simply like to dress up by mixing and matching pieces, and I work in an office environment that allows me to wear what I want. 

This blog is merely a diary of my style and my shopping addiction. Why did I name it "More Pieces of Me?" In July of 2012, I started a Tumblr entitled, "Pieces of Me" because that's what my outfits of the day are - small pieces of who I am. My Tumblr consists only  of outfits. No stories, no commentary from me, just outfits. Just pieces of me. When I decided to start this blog at the start of 2013, it was an extension of my Tumblr, hence, More Pieces of Me.

I could not describe my style in just a few words, I had to dedicate a whole post to this. You can read all about it here. 

And this "About Me" would not be complete without mentioning my infamous Closet Room. I created this myself - it is a good starting point until I am able to get it professionally done - but it's my own space, my style safe haven, and I adore it.
